Nursing nursing nursing. Oh nursing nursing.. Nursing has taught me a lot not only about my future profession ofcourse, but also about life. How hand washing is important in staying healthy, how sex is a physiologic need, how babies are made and probably more. :D

But the most important thing that it has taught me is Goal Setting. A nurse needs to set goals for every patient. This goal will be the basis of client care or the Nursing Care Plan. There are five characteristics of a goal. The goal should be SMART .

Pretty much dead…

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

My social life is pretty much dead. I do not go out that much with old friends. My social life pretty much revolves around the internet. Internet? OMFGHAX I am a nerd now, officialy a nerd.

School has been h4x. Giving me so much problems, too many to tackle at a time. It has been said to tackle a problem one at a time, but what if you’re given lots of problems at a time? Solving them one at a time would pile-up the other problems that you have. What I do? I solve one and hide the other problems beneath my carpet of forgetfullness until the pile of problems has been so high stacked-up beneath my carpet that I feel them whenever I walk.

Posting and updating my blog is one of the things that make that pile go higher. But posting on this blog gives me satisfaction that I can’t get from anywhere else.

That’s all of the metaphors that I can write in a day. Hoping that I can update this blog within a week or so. xD

Hell Week

Friday, October 5th, 2007

The last few weeks of a semester is always hell in College. Last minute requirements be passed, old requirements not yet passed and back to haunt you. Well it’s really hell, an 8-hour sleep is rare in the last few weeks of the semester. Well, I just realized I’m in the last 3 weeks of the first semester. Just a little more and I’ll be done with crap and can slack off and do things I really want to do like sleeping, eating, sleeping some more, sleeping in the day, sleeping in lazy afternoons etc2x.

One lesson I’ve learned this semester and should really hold on to is to never leave things to be done for tomorrow. Well a more famous quotation would be “Don’t leave things for tomorrow what you can do today” or something like that. After 4 years in college I am yet to gain that mind set. Well, there are a lot of things I have to change about my self. That would be one of them.
